The Course takes place on the Wonderful island of Ometepe, we are happy to be situated on this part of Nicaragua. A place where a good amount of people still are able to live off their lands through the use of agriculture. A place where for some people horses until today are used as means of transportation.
How to get there:
From ManaguaTake a bus which has Rivas as it´s destination or which passes through Rivas (most of the buses that go south to Costa Rica and beyond have to pass through Rivas).
In Rivas you most likely get dropped off near the gas-station on the main road, from there you take a taxi or collective taxi which should not cost you more than 1-3 Dollar (30-90 Cordoba) to the ferry and from there you take one of the ferries to Moyogalpa.
From Costa Rica
From San Jose there are two companies Nicabus and TransNica which are a bit more expensive, but will take you directly to Rivas (you pay the ticket for Managua and get off in Rivas).
On the stop at the border the bus service collect the immigration fee and you go and "check out" of Costa Rica on your own and at the Nicaraguan border. The bus service will collect your passports at some point to take care of the imigration of nicaragua. Don´t worry you get it back, after that it´s around 2 hours to Rivas.
